Dog Days of Summer

July and August have been horrendous for me in regards to time and I am afraid my blog has taken the brunt of the neglect. I can't believe it has been almost two months since I landed on my face. It has also been almost two months since I last rode and since I shaved the goat. I have to say its looking not too shabby and somewhat shaggy. I haven't ever taken the beard longer than 6 days.

More exciting than my facial hair and lack of fitness is that we finally got a DOG!!! I have been looking for a year and a half, and Jamie, the sweet soul that she is, said she would accept the idea of a dog. I was stoked beyond belief. I found the most awesome puppy on the planet from a breeder in west of Ogden. The girls and I went up north and saw him and it was loves at first sights for all involved. We decided to name him Koda, like Kodiak, since he is coloured like an Alaskan Brown Bear. Other considerations were Cinnamon, Bear, Kojack (from Adam) and Doggy (from Maddi.)

I am probably the most excited of the bunch here and have had a terrible time not spoiling him. We are in the midst of potty training K Bear, which has gone fairly well considering.
