I always get the feeling in China that the country is much like a billboard. They project success and freedom on one side, but it is simply a facade with no depth....

Great! I know when we visited Tianamen Square four years ago, our tourist guide would not talk about it. In fact, we really wondered if he (along with most of the Chinese)was even aware of what had occurred there. I don't think he was. They have done a great job of suppressing the truth from their own countrymen.
