Friday was the beginning of our new life aquatic. The boat finally arrived. We met out at the lake and the salesperson went over the ins and outs of its operation. Saturday we took the kids and had a blast letting them drive. Everyone loved it. I loved watching Madds' expression every time James would punch it. She was thrilled.
Easter Sunday was fantastic as well. We had the Armets over along with GpA and Grma Virginia. We partook of Virginia's Ham, so perfectly prepared by Jamsey. When everything was over, GpA and I took the scenic route over the mountain by the new temple Draper on the way back to his place. It was awesome. We really had a great time.
Monday I was supposed to be in California but due to a change in plans I will be in town all week. It is getting to be very, very hard to travel. Each time a trip comes up I dread it. Guess that is what a good family does to you.
Lastly, I finished Marley and Me last night. Sobbed hard in the end. Made it clear to me that I still miss Chick. I had the thought that its better to love, and feel the good and bad of it, than feel nothing at all. I love books that make me feel the gambit of emotions. It was a great read.
Til next time, remember, keep your elbow in.
